National Transition Strategy consultation

Consultants at AccessibilityOz have assisted in the development of a National Transition Strategy for a number of federal and state departments. Our consultation consists of four parts:

  • Roadmap: where we analyse the current state of the accessibility of your web sites and applications and identify areas to be archived
  • Audits: where we complete audits of identified web sites and applications
  • Accessibility Training: training of relevant staff to conduct testing themselves, or write accessible code or content
  • Development of accessibility policy and procedures: in order to ensure web sites and applications remain accessibility over the long-term

Roadmap

AccessibilityOz will conduct a web site stocktake, which will identify the following:

  • A list of content to be archived
  • Content to be audited (prioritised)
  • Identification of training
  • Required policy and procedures, such as a PDF policy

Audits

Accessibility Training

Development of accessibility policy and procedures

AccessibilityOz will provide relevant accessibility policy and procedures, such as a PDF policy. Procedures such as testing checklists can also be provided to ensure that sites remain compliant. Other policies can include areas of procurement and third-party software.
